On: Aerodynamics
for Pilots
|
|||
Summary This
book is the outgrowth of notes created while teaching a class of
professional
flight students some aerodynamics not normally found in their standard
flight mechanics
texts. It is not meant to compete or
replace these texts but rather to fill part of the information void
between pilot oriented advanced flight mechanics books and the highly
technical
aeronautical engineering books. The gap
exists because flight mechanics texts tend to skim over material that
appears
to be getting too involved with theory and advanced mathematics. This book thus provides an
overview of aerodynamics not
generally covered in flight mechanics books and done
efficiently as
possible. |
